Thanks for everything you did on the staff team. You were one of my fave forums ninjas, always handled everything fairly and reasonably. Not 100% sure why you resigned, but my guess is it's time issues, boredom, or moving on in life. In any case, I wish you luck wherever you go ^-^
Definitely sad to see another one of my FM mentors leave, definitely gonna miss you Jilly. I'm hoping to one day be where you were and make all the people that mentored me as an FM proud. You were extremely hard working and it'll definitely be different to see you gone ;-;
Mineplex has just lost a legend. You were more than just another staff member, you were a friend who cared for others, no matter the circumstance.
I remember first really talking to you because of Plug, you would practically always be on and when I was staff we would occasionally talk, but nothing too major. I remember getting demoted, then getting staff on a friend’s alt and messaging you as a Trainee, you were still very friendly and welcoming even then. It just goes to show how you really look out for others no matter who it is. Even after I was demoted a second time and you warned me on the forums, you still made me happy when I messaged you, and who knew that message would be the start of a great friendship.
I honestly never thought I would see this day come, it has come as a shock for me. I am not going to talk about how much work you did for the staff team and praise you for that, because you mean a hell of a lot more than the things you accomplished. Instead, Jillian, your staff journey should be remembered as the amazing person you are. No matter the situation, you always treated everyone with respect and attempted to make their day better, and that is something not very many people on here can say. Mineplex has lost an outstanding person today, not just some robot who routinely performs their staff duties. Sure, performing such duties may make you a great staff member, but Jillian, you are much more important than just a mere great staff member, you are a great person, and that is not something that can be said about many staff anymore.
If you have not taken the time to get to know Jillian, I would. She is an amazing person and an even better friend, and she means a lot to me. I still think about all the times we talk and how great your stories are, and I hope to never lose you. Perhaps it is necessary to thank you for everything you have done for Mineplex, but I feel it is more important to thank you for being who you are. Thank you, and I hope we never lose contact, because I would be disheart
