Plenty of academic articles out their about the topic of online social networking and how it effects society as a whole. So yeah reference those if you want to understand properly why people love to bring those into every aspect of their life, and why I personally avoid social networking sites minus enjin.
I tried to avoid social networking, but thats what my friends talk about all day, so I had no idea what they were talking about for a month and was forced to get them back lol!
