I remember when I was a nubby RP mod and was accepting your really nice reports that made it easy on me (unlike those reports with about 3 words and no evidence) xD
Thank you everyone for the amazing experience, but I’ve deemed it best to end it here. The next few years will determine the rest of my life and I need to get everything together. I’ll talk about why a bit, but the main reasons are lack of time, life (Events, school, social life, etc.) and simply lacking interest.
I used to spend a ton of time on Mineplex, an unhealthy amount one might say. It got to a point where I was literally ruining relationships with friends. I have since fixed all of that and it’s better than before, but I just don’t have the time for it anymore. I had wanted to be staff since 2013 even though I stopped playing until late 2014. Because of this I’ve decided it’s best to resign; I don’t have the time anymore. Also for anyone wanting to apply for staff, go for it, but make sure you manage your time well. Make sure you spent time everywhere.
The forums have always been an interest of mine, but it never really played out how I had hoped. I had always wanted to achieve the FM position, but never ended up getting there. 5 applications sent, 5 rejected. Although I did get very close at one point being told I was “1 off” twice in a row. As motivating as that is, it’s really discouraging as well. I will admit, I could have been more active recently but I just felt like it wasn't worth it anymore. It's kind of like waiting for a new game to download but it's stuck at 99% for a few months, sooner or later you won't feel as compelled to play the game and move to something else. Again I definitely could have been more active on the forums towards the end, but I wasn't as motivated after being so close yet so far away twice. All I asked for was an opportunity, but everything happens for a reason. Anyways good luck to everyone on the team, most seem to be doing very well
I was debating whether or not I should talk about issues like favoritism, etc. but I’d rather not. In the end everyone has their own opinions.
I’ll do a few tags, but I’ll try to keep it short. I didn’t meet too many people, but everyone I have met has changed my experience here. Dozzy – I know we didn’t talk all that much, but it was great getting to know you. You motivated me to apply and I thank you for welcoming me into the community. You’re one of the nicest people I have ever met, best of luck with everything in the future IzeyFro being one of the few batch buddies left. Again we didn’t talk a ton, but you have always been someone to look up to. You were undoubtedly the best mentor/monitor I had. Extremely easy to talk to and you didn’t try and boss everyone around as if you owned the place. Shoutout to Inv3rt3d , I've always been able to look up to you, and thank you for doing the community aid program I know how much that positively effects people. UntoldFury and mikelikesmuffins I was very fortunate to be able to work with you during my experience on TM. TM is very fortunate to have the both of you, keeping doing what you're doing Also sorry to all my current mentees, I know I'm leaving partway through your trials. As much as I would like to stay to complete those, I simply can't. I wish you all the best of luck, you're all doing amazing.
