Enjin scams are back again, watch out.

Be on the lookout for trending scamming posts like the following:



A swarm of recently compromised Enjin accounts continually have been bombarding both our forums and random Enjin walls with the exact same account information phisher (scam). The associated accounts' scam posts will all look similar to the above image with some sort of fake content intended to reel people in, along with an attached link to what's being advertised. Be on the lookout for ANY account, regardless of rank or post count, posting attention-grabbing content & a link to the content allegedly being advertised. This has spread from our forums to various different walls, keep your eyes peeled in both areas.

If you're suspicious about whether or not a link is affiliated with this scam but can't tell for sure, hover over it with your cursor OR right click it and copy the link address and paste it elsewhere. If the actual link location shows to be connected back to "usingthistemp" upon taking either action, it's the scam.

If you happen to run into this scam anywhere, please immediately forward it to a Forum Moderator or Ninja to be dealt with appropriately. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the report feature for every instance of this occurring on walls as well, further measures to clear one's posts or ban an account can be taken from there by the Enjin team if necessary.

Beware, be safe and by all means do NOT click any suspicious links or enter your account information into an unknown source. We apologize to everyone directly affected by these recent events, note that those who have been compromised and banned for scamming may appeal their forum ban via an Enjin alt after changing the password to their banned account.

We encourage those concerned to spread awareness about this. Be careful!

Today, I would like to congratulate Icefall , SavGhost , and Tours on being accepted to the Social Media team. They have accomplished such a big achievement and they have worked very hard for it. Be sure to congratulate them as soon as possible.

Also, a farewell goes out to xNibs who has resigned recently. He was a very well known Community Manager and one of the most inspirational ones out there. Be sure to stop by and thank him for all he has done. We wish him all the very best for his future on behalf of the Mineplex community.

So I've now been accepted as a Forum Moderator! This is one of the teams I have always wanted to be on since joining the forums! I am very excited to be working along with all the other forums mods and Ninjas who go out of their way to keep the forums a much better place for the community. Make sure to congratulate the new forum mods who were also accepted recently. They worked very hard for this position and I just know they'll do extremely well! c:
