The minecraft community makes me lose hope for humanity. When Mineplex releases something even remotely similar to other servers' games, everyone goes apeshit even if it's not the MP dev's own idea but the community wants some kind of games on Mineplex as well.
Not to mention that Mineplex is nowadays even falsely accused of having copied some games like draw my thing and minestrike, which were on MP FIRST.
Now, hypixel releases a game called "speed UHC" which is IDENTICAL to a certain server's game, EVEN THE NAME. Well, does the copy-hate-bandwagon show up there? Of course not. I even saw someone saying "hypixel doesn't copy other servers". Like honestly, you MP-hate-bandwagon kids should go focus your attention to something else instead of ruining my midsummer's fest by being such fucking idiots and ignoring the facts whilst hyping false information.
The hell?? I commented on the mineplex trailer video to let Sam and others know that the video had copyrighted material and the creator deleted my comment :''D ( ? ? ? : D ? ? ? ) What the hell man, if you plagiarize something and others could get into trouble because of it, doesn't mean that you can censor everyone pointing it out. The guy just lost all respect in my eyes, no matter how good the trailer might have been.
I can't be sure since I have no intention to check out every single of those gazillion Diablo 3 trailers but the thumbnail and the end of the trailer have clearly been made with a Adobe Diablo brush or something, if not cut straight out of one of the trailers.
Blizzard is really strict about their copyright stuff and I do think they'd get Mineplex in trouble for it.
Does everyone really NOT see the obvious Diablo III logo in the end and in the thumbnail with just the text "Diablo" changed into "Mineplex"?
Firstly, that means the guy didn't make it himself, and secondly it could end up in serious copyright problems, since Blizzard is so fricken tight about their trademarks and artwork.
▲20 Likes?▲ Help me out and share this video :D : https://youtu.be/q17cNJlKaJA Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy this SICK trailer (or teaser) I made for this awesome server, Mineplex! I made two other similar trailers in the past, and I just thought it woul
Got to play with this lot, and even my favorite game, the infamous Mineplex SG. Managed to win one!
The whole thing was organized just for one thing; the hype for Unique's level 100 achievement. So, please join me in congratulating uneek man for achieving level one hundred with almost 4000 wins in SG! The Destroyer of CaptainSparklez has finally made it.
I KNEW SOME SMARTASS WOULD COME COMMENTING ON THAT!!!!!
I somehow had a feeling that it would be either you or Cavy as well
The whole party of 20 people was people from 80 to 100 and I got some of them in this one so I had to spam you dick xD
Yeah I spent a load of them back when kits cost a lot more, in 2013 and 2014, so I'd be somewhere around 2 mil if I hadn't spent on kits, or given them to friends with the villager morph. This is the first time crossing the 1 mil line!
And I really don't understand why I should spend on the fountain since it's fully charged only hours after it depletes from the weekend, mind explaining me? Do you get some kind of bonuses?
Seriously what the fuck? I'm sorry for cussing but right now it's worth it.
Every second person in SG seems to be hacking today. That would mean 50 friggin percent. 50%! I swear, if the new leveling update somehow screwed up the kits and made some people do that much more damage or KB or something, I'm going to be furious. If they somehow managed to screw up SG there's really nothing for me on Mineplex anymore, except for excessive rage due to the absurd amount of hackers.
Well yeah I think so, if I happen to like the game anymore and MP is in fact still running. A year is a long time. I'm not saying I won't hop on for an hour or two every month or so to see what's happened, but I wouldn't consider that "active".
Can someone who is smart enough to give me reasonable arguments on this subject explain something to me:
Why are some skills in DOM called "noob" skills/kits? They're IN THE GAME, meant to be used and balanced accordingly. If I can use a skill well enough to wreck people with it, I will damn sure use it. It's just frustrating when people call you out for being a noob for using it (after you've successfully destroyed the whole opponent team with it) and you can say nothing back to that.
Ok so, for a list of OP skills
Viper Strikes
Colossus
Vengeance
Explosive Arrow (Above level 2)
Op skill combinations are
Intim Colo
Deflection Vengeance
Void Magma Blade Inferno
I know these are good skills, BUT THEY ARE IN THE GAME! They are meant to be used, and they do in no way make one a noob for using good skills. I want a reasonable argument to why one is a noob if they use some of these.
Lith, play assassin with Combo attack for 10 games, then play assassin with Viper strikes for 10 games. Viper strikes takes an incredibly low amount of skill to use, to the point where it can take a very minimal amount of hits to kill someone. Colossus lowers your knockback by 75%, even though it says only 35%. Vengeance causes you to take less knockback. Explosive arrow at any level above two has an extremely short cooldown, Intim Colo makes you take absolutely no knockback. Deflection Vengeance makes you take actually almost no knockback and take less damage. Inferno Magma Blade Void makes you do like 13 damage per hit, while taking no knockback and low damage.
I've been playing DOM for the past two days now, and now that I have experience, I can safely say that I've never seen a community more toxic and cancerous in the whole of Minecraft.
Lemme explain; I was playing the game minding my own business when I killed these guys a few times. They started calling me noob and telling me to "kys". I mean, I was wrecking them like there was no tomorrow and somehow I'm the noob there. Mind you, these were all people with 50-70 levels that mindlessly grind champions. Well, they started all targeting me, which I believe was understandable since none of them could kill me alone. Well, that would've been alright since at the same time my team was capping and owning them that way. What was NOT okay was the way they treated me after that, every time they managed to kill me I was told that I should kill myself because I'm that bad. I usually don't get too angry because of some imbeciles harassing me but they were all people who had THOUSANDS of wins in that particular game, like for real.
I wish it was just that would have been a one time thing but no, I joined different games yesterday AND today, and in all games the people are equally rude, blaming their defeat on different things from hacking to lag and ping. There are so called "clubs" in the CHAMPs community that you should be part of to be good at the game, and otherwise you're just somehow lucky and should kill yourself. Other than that it's so common that when you get killed by someone, they say things like "ez", "rekt" or "lololololol". And when you say that back to them after you've killed them they get salty as fuck, getting meaner and meaner progressively. I can imagine how those guys are the typical rage-hormone-monster-thing from the "generic teenager"-book that just HAVE to have the last say in things. I mean, if you won, do you HAVE to be mean to the guy who got beat? I don't do that and it's bad manners. Like a DOM player would understand anything about manners though
THE SWEET SWEET SENSATION OF AN ACHIEVEMENT TWO YEARS IN THE MAKING!
I wanna thank my mum, my family, my friends oki oki I get it I'll stop.
But in all seriousness I thought this day would never come Maybe I just don't play enough. I started collecting levels back in 2014 when it was actually hard. It took forever to reach even 20, and I was in the top 100 back then with my friend Natriumi Jani6060 , we were two of the very few people to reach level 20 relatively soon after they released the leveling system. After that it died down a little, so I'm only level 60.
During the Halloween 2015 I was sure I'd get it before Christmas. Well that didn't happen! 6 months later... Oh well, now it's done. I promised myself that I wouldn't concentrate on leveling anymore after I reached 60, and I think it's time for that. From now on I'll just have fun, no tryharding except in SG. At the beginning of July I'll put Minecraft on a long hiatus of 6 to 12 months to go complete my obligatory army duty. I'll see you all in 2017! Hope you won't wreck the server while I'm away, it would be a shame.
So, if you see me in game be sure to say hi as I won't be on for a long time starting from July. I'll occasionally check Enjin to make sure I don't miss anything awesome. I'm going to be active until then though!
Thanks man, you'll get there! You've made so much progress in SG alone that you'll be there in no time. Just remember, if you get killed in the end of a game, don't leave, just stay there and wait in the lobby until you get your levels. That's mostly the reason I only got 60 now, I left the games too early for about a year before I realized my mistake lol
Hm. Now that I have more experience with the game, I too have started to like OP Bridges quite a lot. It still takes too long to be able to make a sharp 4 sword (legit, mind you) when you're saving your bottles but it's alright. You just need a good team, that's all, and it becomes really enjoyable. Here I need to say that Valk is a total fricken boss at OP Bridges, the only person that I've seen to continuously wreck everyone in every game he's in. It's ridiculous, and I think he's hacking, lol.
The amount of hackers on Mineplex during weekends, especially Sundays, is just absolutely pathetic. Sad excuses for human beings thinking they're having fun ruining all the games.
Apparently you now get Treasure Shards from every game you play. The amount is equal to the amount of gems you get. AWWW YISS BOISS this is the day we've been waiting for!
Chill. Read a couple of posts below from the comments section about why it's taking so long;
Mineplex has custom combat in every game except in MCL. The custom combat includes customized hit detection and delay, as well as custom knockback which is based on the damage you do, when default knockback is the same with every weapon. It makes the game and combat smoother, but makes developing the anti cheat hard. Also the double jump effects on several games and in lobbies would make a vanilla anti cheat ban everyone that uses them.
So please, go ahead and code one if you think you'd be faster.
I decided to show you guys what Lotus Crescentoriginally looked like. So I made this short video in which I show you all the bits that were deleted afterwards. No shaders on this one, my computer can't handle those
Like you can see, quite a lot was changed, the name included.
(dw I asked BT's permission for this.)
This is how I (Lithiumi) built the map in the first place, before it was edited by others. The original name was Trillium Enclave. Like you see, it was quite a bit longer than it is in it's final form. Thanks for watching.
Me and Caveguyy 's baby got finally added on the server. I think Cavy started it like 1.5 years ago? Once his interest in it faded I took the project over and build the rest of the map based on the style he was going for when he built the first islands. Apparently the map I made was too long, so they have cut 1/3 of it off in order to make it fit the DE map standards. It still looks pretty good, doesn't it?
Just played my first round on the new SG map Primal. It's fricken HUGE. Like Elven Citadel size. Absolutely massive. Also, no narrow corridors to hide and run away in. It's pretty neat I must admit. The amount of chests on it O.o
Right now I'm waiting for PlexWorld and Elven Citadel to be added back and my SG dreams would be reality.
On a side note, uneek man muted me with /ignore after I killed them in SG. I think they might be a little salty.
