This was by far the best tournament ever! Not just because we, The Carrot_Brotherhood, won, but also because the skill of the game really was on the same level. Most tournaments before had one favourite that was almost certain of the victory, except for players not being able to show. Everybody had their A-team playing most of the time and the sub-ins were actually part of the A-team whenever the original A-team wasn't there. There were no unbalanced kits, like magneto in earlier tournaments, except for demo on luxor
Good game and well played aftershock! I must admit that I didn't pay that much attention to matches that didn't involve CB, but I will get to those later next week. I assume you guys were very tired in the final game, considering the last two maps were very easy compared to the first four map we played. However the skill level was suprisingly high.
I might be making some tutorials with tips and tricks, if CB agrees. This will include some of my perspectives on the game and some tricks I learned while playing with and against some great players. Another thing I would like to see is just teams arranging a match not in a tournament. Just practise a bit around with your team and get the taste of the other teams. Besides that it would also be a great propaganda (can't find the right word for it...) for MCBall. Maybe if the highest donator could get a server for him/herself. Having the ability to whitelist certain people, starting matches and do fun stuff like shotty only. Just a silent hint
I hope everyone enjoyed the tourney and still enjoys the game.
I tihnk this tourney and the pre-tourney period quite clearly indicated your times as monotheistisch MCBall-god are over. MCBall now exists as a polytheistsche community. If you know what I mean
Just wanna say, I love your responses, especially to the "vortex needs to be added" thread. I didn't read your edit before I posted my response since it took me so long to type, so you made me look redundant Guess that means great minds think alike
Some people joke around about being staff. Boom 1 month ban, because what might new people think of the MCBall server?
An iron, which happens to be me, comes online and people start spider trolling him/me with the intention (!!!) to make me rage quit (!!!) for more then 5 minutes long.
"That's not enough; I'll give him a warning when I see him"
I think this is broken. I think new players prefer being joked about who is staff and who is not above getting spider trolled 2 whole games. Spider trolling like that might actually convince new people to leave the server for good. But hey, we're talking about MCBall...
And going straight to a ban is terrible staffing I hope they realize they have /gag /warn and /mute too but nope 1 month ban for something so minor that's reasonable gg.
According to superheroguy123, he was trolling you because you continued to bother him and another player. They were doing a 1v1 and you joined. They politely asked you to leave but they refused. They went to the ctf2 server and you followed them. Once again, you refused to leave after being asked politely. It sounded like you were being a big pain in the ass. There's always another side to the server.
I am not quite sure if anyone realizes that Mrkoo wants his ban appeal answered before tomorrow. He needs to know if he can make the tournament or not. Considering this it's a bit rude that all staff had mentioned on his ban appeal is that builders are not staffmembers and that people should not post on ban appeals. They haven't said they will bring it up to staff, they haven't replied to any of his points in the ban appeal.
I can almost guarantee he won't play in the tourney. Also, Knack or waffle need to answer his ban appeal, they're the ones who have all of the evidence.
Lyrics: I don't want to wait anymore I'm tired of looking for answers Take me some place where there's music and there's laughter I don't know if I'm scared of dying But I'm scared of living too fast, too slow Regret, remorse, hold on, oh no I've got to g
Any csgo players wanting to team up with me? There are some awkward games. Sometimes nobody talks back xD Sometimes it's good and sometimes (quite a lot actually) you get yelled at... Anyways, I think it's more fun teaming up with someone.
I'm silver elite, but still new to the game and playing like MCBall style just isn't working out for me xD
I'm playing on my smurf account atm and I can't add people on it, can you add me, search chrispie99 or evanchrispie and there should, just add both if you can find them
We could always try and make up our own tournament. Aslong as we can block out all the haters from the server and we could have an ultra in the lobby, we could make arranged matches. I know it's quite some work and unrealistic. However there are quite some times nobody plays, there are quite a few people willingly to leave if we ask them we are having a private battle and we could all do it secretly on times noone knows except for the teams playing. I still have some points which I saved for frosty, but well you know how it goes. We could use that as prize money xD if there is some serious appitite for this, we could always do it. We could also form teams and just challange each other at specific times. Make the game a little more fun again.
I'd love you to do that, however that will mean you must be able to spectate the game and for that, you require to be a staff member. (Or we might be able to arrange a tourney and get the perms temporarily, which I doubt we'll ever get.)

"Currently calling people 'Noobs' isn't counted as an offense. If it carries on we can talk into seeing if we can do something about it."
If you call someone a noob you either do it to tease your opponent in a friendly way (Only done by friends) or you do it to make them rage or to rage yourself. Calling people noob result in a toxic community. Why oooh why isn' t it counted as an offense?
Oh. Liam did warn him for the spam and caps. I guess looking at it, it doesn't deserve a mute (from the evidence submitted). I still think it's harassment though, so bunji should've been warned about that as well.
Ohhh, I' m not so interested in wether or not he is guilty. For now I'll leave that up to you guys. I only read the sentence and I thought it was absurd.
Calling someone noob is unnessecary and shows that the person saying it doesn't have a lot of self-control/control or anger. It's just dumb to say it and besides that. It's perfectly well understood by the person you are calling noob that you have no good intention/feeling with/about him. Whilst you might just use it random. Of course you can joke around with people, but only with people you know that can take it.
Besides that, noob is directed to someone. What I find a pretty minor thing to do is just say shit, fuck damnnit etc. Or just spam something. That's not affecting anybody's mood unless they are grumpy or really have a bad temper. Directing those words to someone however may change their mood. So relativily speaking I'd say calling someone noob isn't as minor as you think.
