it's kind of sad to see how so many americans actually believe guns are good for "protection", like?? if your country has more shootings than any other place maybe it's time to actually start thinking of a solution instead of just praying for it. it's just so awful seeing all these shootings happening without anything being done about those dumb gun laws. i don't mean to offend anyone but i just think you need to make a change. oh and for you wonderful people who voted for trump, building a wall to keep mexicans out will not automatically get you employed, it wouldn't solve anything actually, and banning muslims from entering the us to "prevent terrorism" is the dumbest thing i've ever heard. okay bye love you all x
Criminals are criminals, if they want a gun they're going to have it whether they're allowed to or not lol. If they're going out and killing people, something makes me feel like they're not the most law-abiding citizens. If they're not legally allowed to own a gun, it's not going to stop them from getting one. The important thing is that we keep the guns in the hands of the citizens who use their concealed guns to stop shootings, because putting strict gun laws in place is just going to make shootings worse when they happen. Everyone's going to be unarmed but the criminal, and they're not going to be anybody to stop the massacre.

how would criminals get guns if they were kept harder to get? Like you know...anywhere they could be sold they would be locked up, instead of easy to grab and steal. And make it so criminals can't purchase one legally with better background checks. Plus, there is no reason for a civilian to need a semi automatic weapon for "protection". If we didn't sell literal machine guns do you really think there would be as many mass shootings as there are? There's absolutely no reason to sell those powerful of guns in the first place, and no surprise they're what's used in the majority of mass shootings. The point is not to get rid of guns all together, but to get rid of certain unnecessary kinds and keep the others more secure and harder to get.
