On behalf of the Translations Team
It is alwys hard to see someone go and leave, but life goes on and it should always be a happy thing when someone decides to try new things or choose a new way during their lifetime. Support them, be happy for and with them.

In this situation, I would like to wish both of our Translations Managers

Nezze♕ and

coralines the best on their ways since they are leaving the staff team and the translations management.

Both have done fantastic work on the team and will be missed by all of us! There will be new people coming and going, but everyone has their unique ways when dealing with management responsibilities, so thanks to you for being part of the team and I will you the best!

New Event Assistance Members
During the past weeks, the Event Manager Team was looking for new assistants to join the squad life. After a lot of applications, interesting interviews and conversations, we are happy to announce that we are recruiting 6 new assistants to our team today! We are welcoming 3 US Assistants, 2 EU Assistants and 1 AU Assistant to the team hope you will enjoy your stay!

Time changes things

Heya and welcome!
For those who did not talk to me a lot in the past, my name's ShinyRukii or Lucioss, currently Head of Events and Translations and during the past few days, multiple people came to me ask, (maybe?) weird and personal questions, probably due to curiousity. And those made me think a bit about what time changed during the past years here.

I have been on the network for quiet some time already. Joined on December 3th 2013 to play some Dragons after I saw CaptainSparklez playing it and stayed here due to some people I met in-game I was able to hang out with. I just started visiting University at that time. And few weeks and 3 applications later, I was accepted as new staff member, 47 months ago. Has been a while.

It is crazy to think about how much time I actually spent here. Not being able to even name all Moderators/Senior Moderators I worked with, is weird to me. Might sound bad to some of you that I can not name all of them, but some were only on my team/s for a few days and that was over three years ago. I met a lot of people between then and now.

And now, I left University more than a year ago already. Graduated in Media Tech which contains Web- und Mobile-Development, as well as Photography and Audio/Image/Video editing and 3D-Design. I moved three times since I came here. I met a lot of awesome people, some are still around after all the years and trouble we had. And now all of the sudden people come to me, asking about what I think and what I feel about all this. So why not taking some time and let everything think about these things. I rarely talk about myself,
most people, even staff, do not know much about me.

Why are you still here after all this time? Are you still motivated doing what you are doing?
I am definitely still motivated and thats the reason I have not really thought about leaving the network during the past years. People have a lot of different reasons why they are leaving. Not only staff, also community members. Often just life happens and time changes things. Sometimes, people lose their motivation which is fine too, it happens. But whenever I thought about these things, I never really found a reason to leave. I love the work I am able to do, and I love my team and what they are doing for us and for you. Some of they are team members for over 2 years already, some are even three years on my team.

Giovanna All of them have been around, tried to cheer you up, cheered me up and had a good time (I hope). But also the people I talked to changed a lot inside of me, and still do every day when I am in-game, talk to people or just read messages. There is always something new to discover. I have no intention of leaving this behind any time soon. At least from my side.
As long as people want me to be around, I probably will be here. So I leave this to other people for the time being.

What changed time in your life?
Time definitely changed a lot of my life, even thought I try to stay the same person and try to keep a positive and happy attitude most of the time. The people I regularly talk to changed, also the people I want to be in contact with for a long time, even after my time on the network. Sometimes I am wondering what other people did in this time or if I could have done other things. What I know is that I am happy with how everything happened. I met people I really got to like over the years. And I cant wish for other ones. If we look at it, there are at least four people I will stay in contact with for many many years. They also changed over the years. Started university, finished school. Found new jobs or just grew up. It is fascinating to think about how they were when you met them and how much changed or - what did not change.

Of course, there are always the sad or bad times too. I am happy that I got through all of them finally. Until the end of last year. Around November/December, life was harder, more stressful and definitely less enjoyable. But people around you keep you company, make you happy and cheer you up. Always looking forward and being able to enjoy what you are doing is important to me, and that make it at least a bit easier.

What now?
Making the best out of it I guess. Always looking forward. Every new day is exciting. For now I am wondering, for those who are here for a longer time and still read this wall for whatever reason. What changed in your life in the time you have been around? What keeps you going, if anything? I am looking forward to all of this, as well as sticking around here, streaming games, talking to people, meeting people from the network like I did during the past years and during Minecon, and being thankful to

AussieFighter for making life more enjoyable.

In any case, do what you like to do. As long as it does not affect other people in a negative way and you enjoy what you are doing, keep it up! And if you need something, I will probably be around~

Thanks for being such a great person to work with. Even after the past 1+ years being on your team, I don’t think I was ever demotivated once. You’re such a positive and fun individual. You have taught me a lot and you’ve never failed to assist me once when I needed help.

You’ve inspired me a lot over these years and you have been such a great lead and I hope to be apart of your team for more years to come. :s_gg:

<3 Honestly, if I wasn't accepted into the events team years ago, or if I joined any other team as a matter of fact, I probably would have resigned a long time ago. I've always felt that the CoM/Events team was like a second family because of how close we are and how long the majority of us have stayed on the team for. Plus being on a team where you get to host events and play in-game with hundreds of community members sounds like a pretty great team to me!
Thank you for being an amazing admin and I can't wait to see what the future brings!
