Instead of focusing on if the parents should sue the zoo or not, or if the zoo was right in killing the gorilla or not, maybe take this as a lesson to look out for others? I don't know, seems like a better use of time than sitting around and throwing barbs at each other over who should sue what.
The whole story is that the mom looked away for a brief second, to tend to another child, and the kid was gone. It can literally happen to anyone. I am literally sick of people blaming the mom. No one is at fault in this case, besides the people who built the fence in this case. Quit berating the mom, who is probably beating herself up over the incident anyways!
I understand that everyone has their own problems, but is the Internet really a place to share them?
Think about it - You're venting to people who are here to have fun, and have some time to escape their real life stress. Dumping something extremely serious on them such as self-harm isn't doing you or them any good - They aren't professional equipped to assist you, and they're just inevitably getting more stressed out.
Yes, we all have our problems - We all do. That includes the person you're venting to. If you have problems, please seek help from someone qualified to give it, and not a teenager behind a computer screen.
i have to agree about the whole venting to people who may not be professionally equipped to assist you (more so emotionally equipped, if anything), but i will have to disagree in the whole sharing of problems on the internet. though if you are going to do that, you should try to find a community dedicated to helping others, or to venting shit. which there are in fact plenty of, if you look around.
yeah okay... but what about global warming hUH. WHAT ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING. WHY DON'T YOU KEEP THE EARTH CLEAN YOU DOUCHE THIS COMMENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TOPIC BUT GLOBAL WARMING MATTERS TOO YOU PROBLEMIST.
Ay, you all interested in Pokémon should totally join Pokémon Revolution Online.
It's a free-to-play MMORPG that runs on Mac, Linux and Windows, and an Android version is in development. The MMORPG plans to make all six regions playable, in chronological order. This means you go Kanto > Johto > Hoenn > Sinnoh > Unova > Kalos. You can't use your team from a previous region until you beat your current region. Currently, only Kanto and Johto are released, but Hoenn is in beta testing.
Don't make the mistake of choosing Pikachu as a starter, unless you can't get enough of Electric types (I feel you all, I really do.)
I play on the Red server, since the two servers have separate databases. The Blue server is there for your usage as well, in case you want to start afresh or if you want to have two profiles going simultaneously.
Tbh there are just those random strangers who make your day
I was going shopping for a good Mother's Day gift (My usual cannot-fail gift is a poem, but I won't have time to come up with one this year) and went to Bath & Body Works. The greeter there was so helpful, honestly. It really made my day to see someone help a random stranger so thoroughly. Even though it's her job, and she does this with everyone, it's still nice.
