First start by ripping any ancient components out of that case, because that's the only $100 you're gonna save.. If the parts even fit.

well calaxer your right i should start fresh but i kind of grown a found of this computer cuz it has a 1 TB hard drive a cpu i that i put in a graphics card that i put in from 2009 that is crap a power suply i got off a old computer from a parts store and a few random things here and there so im asking should i just buy the parts or start fresh and keep my old computer for lite gaming or for work

but if you can give me a list of parts under 150 to 200 bucks if you cant find anything i can try to bump up the price to 250 im on a tight budget for this build or upgrade

The Motherbord is AM2+ and the cpu is AM2 compatible. I have an old am2 processor but some of the pins are bent, That RAM looks iffy, and try to get at least a 750ti GPU, those things are reliable AF.

I have a list here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/N46zTW
This does not include a case in the budget. Feel free to modify it and share with us your results.

That's a bit mean, not everyone can afford a computer that costs more than $150 so they have to settle with specs that aren't as ground breaking, anyway the build seems to be ok except the ram which seems dodgy, but if you are getting new ram, make sure its compatible with your mother board and same goes for the cpu

What I'm saying is that its not very smart to buy a last gen PC, coming into another mew generation of games. I would say that by the beginning of spring, you will be able to afford a pretty sweet rig. I suggest waiting until then, and earning a bit of Holiday money and shovel some driveways this winter.

Depression sucks dude, but it is a state of mind. I'm pretty sure federal healthcare will be glad to pay for any medication, if that is needed.
