To be honest,this server is fun,the Plugin is great,but the staff...First of all,we humans play games is too be fun,fun on playing games.Then we enter a server and play,every human has a playful side,they will play around and sometimes even grief ,but can't the staff talk to them and give a warning or something only ban?Play game is for fun,if keep on ban ban ban,then what's the difference between ccnet and school even jail?So I hope that these staff can change the way that they treat players in the server.Make the server friendly,and sure got someone ask is that fair to the one who get griefed?They can settle themselves,they ask a staff to check who did it,let the person who get grief decided to ban or not.Let the person who get griefed decide,like benokelvin a good example,he is different with others,he will ask will the person wants to ban the griefer?If yes then he will ban,if no then he will help him to fix anything that get grief,then it's OK.This type of staff,every players like it.So I hope that these staff can be more friendly and don't keep on ban without warning or straight ban without giving a chance to let the griefer help or pay to the player.Think about it,if the griefer get ban for a week,even though he is back,the player who get grief will still hate him.By the way if they solve themselves,they will turn to friends from enemy.So this is my feedback to this server,hope you all can treat this incident nicely and make the server even better, thank you.

Staff members don't only ban players for griefing( Only in towny) They also ban players for using hacks that cause a disadvantage to other players. Imagine playing on a server where many people use hacks, and gain the ability to have more items, and the ability to kill you, and take your stuff (That you have worked really hard to get). I bet you would feel disappointed. The main reason staff members actually ban people is to stop this "disappointment" from happening. Also, in towny, many players work extremely hard to build their bases ( Which to be quite honest, are amazing). Seeing a base that has been destroyed after really hard work and commitment by the owner would make the person appalled. The person who briefed that base deserves a punishment, don't you think?
Remember, staff members are here to make your experience on this server fair, and fun.
If those is big and amazing building,the person should get ban.How if it is just an abandon house and the player last online is few months ago even a year.Then taking their stuff and get ban for 3 weeks?An abandon house and even the player leave the server,is it worth to get ban for 3 weeks?Like towny,we can do anything in there,such as fishing,selling stuff,building,exploring and etc.You explore,and u found a chest in wilderness,can't you get it?So this really make the server going bored.the post above is talking about town,sorry I didn't mention it.So I hope that Owner can talk to the staff,and maybe treat this kind of incident in a better way,that will be great.
I was given a report for an unabandoned house that had items stolen and blocks destroyed by two different players. They also killed a dog, a horse, and a sheep.
The victim was online, reported it to me, and I banned them for breaking the rules. The offense committed is not just to the victim, it is to the server. These players blatantly disregarded the rules.
We have broadcasts going daily asking everyone to read the rules. If a player does not read and understand the rules, they are welcome to come to us for clarification. If they do not read the rules, or do not get them clarified, then it is their fault for disregarding them. In which event, they may submit a ban appeal and we are likely to accept the appeal.
I understand your point, but you also need to see mine. Here is what I see.
1) I see broken blocks, missing items, and dead animals inside of a town.
2) The rules are very very clear when they state that this is an illegal act.
3) We constantly warn players to read the rules.
When you see all of this together, what you get is a player who has disregarded their opportunity to play the game and not be banned. They have had their warnings, they chose to ignore them.
However, thank you for your suggestion and in the future I will ask the victim what they want done with the offender.
If it is an UNABANDON house,then why can he grief?I ask you about more information about it and ask got further information or not.And you just simply ignore it and say that there are no point of arguing?Can't you just give more information?And isn't this the plot's owner mistake? And if he doesn't even know how to set perm,just go join other's town.This is like a bait to let players destroy and report and let them get ban.So why can't u just ask clearly everything only made your decision?So just give a ban and close case and ignore this?No point of arguing?You all should make a rules,keep broadcast of reading the rules?Why don't you keep broadcast about the town permission?Make everything clear only make ur decision.
If you had been paying attention to chat rather than raging at me at the time, you would of noticed that I was asking Grassedia for the name of the homes owner. The name of the owner was 'itscold'.
I also supplied you with the information that he stole multiple items and killed multiple animals to which you acted as though was no big deal.
Moving on, if we look at the rules, it does not matter whether or not a home is abandoned or not. It is still griefing. It is still illegal and it states so in the rules.
I'm also quite curious as to why you care more about this than your friend did. I've already unbanned HOLY if you read his ban appeal. He has also accepted that what he did was against the rules.
Why can't you?
The rules are very clear and my job is to uphold them. If you believe they are in error, then you should create a forum thread in the suggestions category that highlights changes needing to be made rather than a rant about bad staff.
