Here is my recap of what happened during the conflict between the Nordic Empire and the HRE Alliance consisting of Teutonic, Spain, Carthage, Shinseistan, Abbasid Caliphate, Middle East, Shimazu, and Oceanic Empire.

I will try my best to be non-biased, but if there is any disinformation please let me know.




The Lead-Up


The Nordic Empire sought to expand their influence and conquer London from Britain. They started a siege against London on April 12th, 2021 which saw heavy fighting within the first few hours. Several hours after the siege initially started, it seemed that the British had lost the fight and many had logged off. Nordic Empire and their allies had broken into the walls of London and begun to destroy chests. The next day, newly appointed king of Britain, bonkerclonker69 chose to merge into the nation of Teutonic Order in a last ditch attempt to gain the support of Teutonic and their allies in an attempt to save London. This did not work, with members of Teutonic Order publicly stating that they would not aide the British in the defense of London. Shortly after this, bonkerclonker69 abdicated and gave back leadership to Divy007. Once Divy regained leadership, he decided to have all former British towns join the Nordic Empire. This merger started what was known as the Anglo-Nordic Confederation, with them being the undisputed strongest nation in Europe.


Battle for Kiev


With the new additions of the British towns, Nordic was war hungry. On April 17, several Nordic Empire members were spotted outside of Zafra, the capitol of Spain at the time. It is believed that they intended to siege Zafra that day, but they could not because of the immunity timer that Zafra had. Instead, the Nordics chose to siege their once ally of the Teutonic Order at their capitol of Kiev. In the first few hours, the Teutonic order struggled to put up a defense without their leaders being online, and allies coming in very slowly. Around 3 hours or so after the siege initially began, there was finally enough defenders at Kiev to make a push for the banner. Nations of Oceanic Empire, Spain, Carthage, Abbasid Caliphate, and Shinseistan sent many people to help in the defense. There was a battle of about 40 people combined with around 3-4 deaths per side. Despite the low casualty amounts, the defenders were able to push the Nordic Empire away from the banner. Soon after this, the allied nations attacked the Nordic Empire at their capitol of Vestfold. The Nordics were able to defend this though, with the attack on Vestfold not seriously lasting for more than a few hours. After this first day, there was little fighting for the rest of the siege.



Siege of Zafra

On April 23rd, just a week after the siege of Kiev, the Nordics once again attacked, this time the town of Zafra. The leader of Spain, neboogles was offline during the first 2 days of the siege, with him not being available to help. Defenders from Carthage, Abbasid Caliphate, and Shinseistan showed up in great numbers on the first day of the siege. Defenders took very heavy casualties during this time. It was not until the next day that help from the rest of the allied nations were able to show up. The Nordics had used tanks which greatly advantaged them. Furthermore, they used a mechanic with inn plots in their siege town to "fast travel." This greatly advantaged the attackers, and this mechanic was removed by staff shortly after this siege ended. Lots of effort and overnight capping of banner control brought the siege points to near even heading into the final day. However, the Nordics won the last day, and Zafra was placed under occupation by the Nordics.



Carthage Strikes London


With leaders of the Nordic Empire, specifically Divy and OrbtiPrim3, publically saying that Carthage was next, Carthage leaders assumed that the Nordic Empire would attack on April 30th. This was not the case, and Nordic had decided to take a weekend off from sieging. Carthage leaders had been preparing for the siege throughout the week, and wanted their new members to get some war experience. Carthage, with help from Spain and Abbasid Caliphate, attacked London. There were some big fights at this siege, with many Carthaginian deaths, in exchange for few points gained whilst attacking the banner. In the end, the materials at the siege town had run out, and Carthage was no longer able to continue the siege of London realistically.



Tunis sieged


The Nordic Empire finally attacked Carthage on May 6th, 2021. The first few days went relatively well for the defenders. Midway through the second day, the defenders had up to 62,000 points in their favor. This siege utilized cannon towers. Essentially, these were platforms at y=256 with rows of cannons aligned at the banner so that they could not be destroyed or affected in any way. These siege towers were used in other sieges down the road. During the third day, heavy fighting was happening throughout the day. The alliance's initial success was turning in favor of the Nordic Empire, and many in the alliance were frustrated. Differentiating opinions between Nuxyr, at the time the leader of Shinseistan, and the rest of the alliance, ended up with him unallying the alliance, and attempting to kill members while within the Carthage fort. Many in Shinseistan were aggravated with Nuxyr. There was a referendum in Shinseistan to replace Nuxyr, which passed and Boukirchin became the new leader. The Nordic Empire fought hard, and went up 20k points with 12 hours left on the siege. The siege points were around even with just a couple hours left. The final battle session saw Carthage down around 5k points, and the defenders attempted to charge the banner one last time. This ended up failing, and Tunis was placed under occupation by the Nordic Empire.


The Revolution


The weekend after Carthage was taken was very quiet, with members of the alliance working towards gathering resources and planning for the invasion of Vestfold. By May 20th, the nations of Carthage, Spain, and Abbasid Caliphate had merged to become the SCA Union. On that date, the town of Zafra, and the town of Tunis revolted against the Nordic occupation alongside the Teutonic Order attacking both Nordic towns of Vestfold and Paris. There was little to no fighting at Zafra and Tunis, with the defenders having clear control of both sieges. The attack on Paris was going well, with the allied attackers having almost 30k points at one time. The Vestfold siege was not doing so well for the attackers, with there being 50k points in favor of the defenders. Around halfway through these sieges, a talk of a peace treaty came up between the two sides. The allied nations agreed to the deal proposed by the Nordic Empire, with many people within the alliance not agreeing with the decision to do this. The peace treaty was that the Nordic Empire would release and surrender the revolt sieges of Zafra and Tunis. Furthermore, Teutonic Order would surrender Paris and Vestold, despite being up on the Paris siege at the time. There would also be a three weeks non aggression pact. This treaty of non aggression included only Teutonic Order, Shinseistan, and the Oceanic Empire. The nation of SCA Union and Shimazu Shogunate were not included in this peace deal. SCA Union ended up signing a different peace deal with the Nordics.
