Well, personally, I use Fraps, but that obviously costs money if you want to record more than 30 seconds at a time... I've tried out XSplit for streaming, but I've heard it's very good for recording too. (And that one is free) One final big piece of advice... Please do yourself and everyone else a favor and never use Bandicam. Ever. Please.
Well, one of my favorite guys is Insaneintherainmusic. He jazzifies video game songs, and it's awesome. He's posted free mp3 downloads on almost every song excluding basically all of the year 2 playlist (cause he remastered all of it, and it's on spotify if you have premium) and all the ones that are parts of albums he's sold.
