Three months of easy workouts and pole. At the beginning, I couldn’t even do five squats. Now I do eighty about three times a week. I also do other basic workouts for glutes and abdominals and etc., and pole conditioning to build my core. My forearms and shoulders have broadened a bit from pole dancing which kind of sucks, but oh well! If you’ve been here before I started my little fitness journey, apologies for the sudden switch in what I’ve been posting. I find art isn’t my thing anymore, I’m only mediocre in it and it’s become boring for me. Three months ago, I’d sit in a chair for twelve hours doing nothing but draw. I felt like garbage and drawing began to feel like a chore. I thought it was an art block, but I don’t see myself getting back into art for a while. Three months ago, I made a split-second decision which I thought I was going to regret. Spent $200 dollars on a pole just for fun, but then after discovering how fun and challenging pole dancing can be, I’ve become addicted to it. After that, I decided to wanted to make a FULL change. I’ve started eating healthier, losing weight with a calorie deficit diet, and working out. Seeing how my body has changed and how much healthier and energized and simply how great I feel, I don’t want to ever go back.

Progressing well in terms of flexibility and strength I think! I can hold this for about 15 seconds.

I made a coconut-berry granola parfait! It’s not the prettiest but my yard makes up for it! I’ve been eating healthy for a while now, but only recently changed up my diet. For breakfast today I made Greek yogurt and berry pancakes with honey and cinnamon, this yummy parfait, and eggs on toast. I’ve been feeling much more energized and fuller on a healthier diet!I’m sharing this to encourage everyone to try healthy eating for at least a week! The food may not be tasty, but you can adjust it like what I did! Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring and can really help you with being active and working out. What you eat really does matter!

Lineart done!

After almost not-dying, I think you deserve a sketch! I’m already working on the lineart process. I said I needed to work more with drawing beasts and animals, but I think I can draw them much better than humans. Before I started getting back into digital art after my six month hiatus three months ago, I did a series of sketches for Inktober to hopefully get me out of my art-block groove (which also lasted six months, rad)! I have a bunch of really awesome monster sketches. Here’s one of my first sketches for Inktober! That day’s sketch prompt Pumpkin, Dragon, Mushroom, and Fire. Completely randomized to push my limits! Also, I’m making incredible progress with the pole! It is crappy and doesn’t spin smoothly so I’ve forced myself to work on a static pole (while I plan to get a professional spinning one probably next year) and I can now do semi-inverteds! I originally got this just for a fun way to work out, but I might actually want to make a career out of it! I would absolutely love to be a teacher for fellow pole dancers! I wonder where I’ll be in a year from now..? Anyway, look forward to some videos of me pole dancing from now on! I know it’s a stark contrast to my digital art, but dancing is just another form of art, and poling is something that I find especially beautiful and elegant! I really want to share my progress with you!

I’m really sorry for that little panic.l and causing others to worry. At 8:08 AM, I woke up to an alarm from my phone blaring. “BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.” I told all my friends to be safe, and told my family that I love them. The neighbors were outside looking around and talking to other people, asking if they got the alarm too. We were searching for a news channel and looking on social media, but there was nothing! No information about where it would hit and there were no sirens.Because we are on an island in the middle of the ocean, we have nowhere to go! No houses here have basements or emergency rooms, so we all sort of accepted it and talked to our mainland relatives and cried. It was a really intense atmosphere. A lot of people were freaking out and people were under tables. The scariest part is that we weren’t sure which of the Hawaiian islands it would hit. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Someone is really lucky if they don’t get fired!Edit: It wasn’t as crazy in my neighborhood, but there were people going into the sewers and tourists running down the street screaming and panicking, nowhere to go. This was a rad fuckup, big time.

Comic WIP! I've been sketching the pages for waaay too long, so here's the sketch! If you want to try your hand at making a comic, it's actually hard to get used to when you realize you have this massive canvas but smaller boxes to draw different scenes into. I was stuck for the longest time! I used a grid, and drew a border, then imagined what's going to be happening on the page, then start making the boxes, then sketch! The imagining part is hard, because you need to pace it well... Props to any comic and manga artists who do this!

Thank you to everyone who’s been checking out my art and those who go the extra mile and want to support me by buying my art! I absolutely appreciate it! Since I do plan on making art my career (hopefully I don’t end up as a barista halfway through), I thought I’d use my extra not-work time to do something fun! I need to lose some weight so I decided on dancing! I used to be a crazy monkey way back when, before I discovered the internet. I thought, “pole dancing can’t be much different!” I usually don’t make posts like this, but I am really glad with how much progress I’m making with dancing! It’s not the fanciest pose, but I’m still a beginner! Every day my arms and legs hurt, but it’s so great! (Sorry about the image quality!)

This is Annalise! She’s a Maine Coon but in Hawaii, I think it would be too hot for her to be an indoor cat. Like most of the others, she’s a rescue and pretty old! She likes hanging out on the middle shelves and she’s my favorite cat to pet! We got them that brand new box and look what happened to it within a few days...

Morn’! Today my goal is to practice using dry, chalk, and watercolor brushes, practice drawing male bodies, practice drawing some banners, finish 3rd place’s drawing, and sketch second place’d drawing! This was so relaxing to do! I don't like how the trees came out since they're really weird-shaped, but I'll just have to practice! I usually have incredibly vivid dreams when I nap midday. Today was a recurring once about my family and I hiking. We hiked so high and across a natural, greeny bridge. We were so high up that the clouds were passing through and it was hard to breathe due to being higher! There were waterfalls, too! It was really incredibly and it felt so real!

I usually wouldn’t make posts like this, but this is my first time reuniting with my childhood friend of ten years after three years! We spent over $400 in goodies!

I did a sketchy reference sheet of Belle as practice, but now I'm certain what kind of character I want her to be. She's a Mary Sue as far as appearances go! She was originally designed quite edgy and named Babel! I completely redesigned her. I actually started drawing Belle again for pinup practice (the first one being my current profile picture) and I really like her face and how I'm able to consistently draw it the same way! One For All, Full Cowl! SMASH!!!! Still a WIP but... Finished the linework! Had to put a 'watermark' there just because I know someone on DeviantArt will probably try to color it. I decided to share the lineart because I'm starting to like my lines more and more! It makes me feel all the more satisfied when I complete it, since lining is one of the hardest things for me to do because it takes the longest time and is very boring, and usually discourages me from proceeding on from the sketch. I've just been forcing myself to do line my sketches because I know by doing my best (because if I won't, I'll die), I'll get rewarded with a nice end result!
