Heya frost! Unless you can re-produce this bug in a certain place it is with 99% certainty you experiencing latency lag due to an unstable internet connection (unless there seems to be server lag for all players on the server). Sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing we can do about that.
Heya Belak, It appears that our chat plugin in a recent update disabled messaging per default. We'll see if we can change this behavior but in the meantime messaging should work as long as you enable it for yourself with /messagetoggle. Thanks for the bug report!

Hello Dan! We think that your suggestion to voting is a good one, although it is a bit hard to implement to benefit people on all servers. (While money can be used globally, items in survival would only be usable to those in survival, which would make voting useless for people who play skyblock etc). Since 1.11 is around the corner our focus is going to be on that, but we agreed that after that we should try to see if we can figure out a more interesting voting solution than what we already have, using what you have said here as a reference ...
