A boy, who was 14 jumped off my local mall yesterday and died. His last words were him telling the paramedics to tell his social media that he jumped off. What is wrong with children nowadays
I love it when people use enjin as an alternative to facebook, they post a selfie as their profile picture and talk about political topics. But at least they aren't posting dank minion memes like those evolved myspace creatures.
lmao yeah. I use it somewhat seriously but mostly as a platform for me to look back on and see how I've changed as a person and for my friends to do the same. It isn't as public as facebook and not everyone knows what enjin is so yee. I do hate ppl who take it WAAAAY too seriously though
yes and no. it depends. it's fun to learn the characters for a while, but at one point it becomes dull and boring because there's a skill ceiling. it isn't something you can jitter2win with but you can use cheeky ass abilities (like roadhog's hook that used to be total aimbot) to win. the game is forever unbalanced and extremely frustrating. however, it can also be rewarding and fun. it's a game totally based on if you're tilted or not. if you're good with games like CSGO you'll excel at overwatch. the competitive seasons are short, so you can always start over.
Ughh, why is pubg rising in popularity above csgo. Theres nothing really special about the game, it just uses this generic and stale combat which could be overhauled by any of the titanfall and battlefield series. I'd rather see a rise in fortnite's popularity since their developers care about the game and streamers don't ban people who kill them.. Ehh, preference
Some asshole joined mcball and started blatantly shooting people through walls. Im not even joking about this, there were 2 staff spectating him and they doing jack shit. If this happens again I'll just leave this server, I legit begged for them to ban this pube and they acted like this was some complicated court case..
Just because you “know” someone is hacking, or just because you beg staff to ban someone, doesn’t mean it’ll happen, and it doesn’t mean you’re right. You have no idea what is going on in the background, so please be nice and give MoDs the benefit of the doubt. It may seem like they’re doing nothing, but I can’t count the number of times I’ve been asked to ban someone who was “blatantly hacking”, and as it turned out, I couldn’t collect any actual conclusive evidence. There’s also many times where the player will have a ton of different alts, and some of those alts have been banned before, so it’s tricky figuring out how long to ban them, if any of those alts are siblings, etc. it can be a pain in the butt, and honestly a pretty daunting task, especially for newer mods, or mods that haven’t dealt punishments too often. Band aren’t something you hand out willy nilly. Getting banned is a big deal, so I see nothing wrong with taking a bit of time to make sure we’re doing it right, and that the hacker gets the correct punishment.
With all that being said, I wasn’t there, so I can’t really comment much on this particular circumstance. I won’t defend any staff if they actually did something wrong, but please also keep in mind that we’re all humans here. We all make mistakes, and while we should strive for perfection, we shouldn’t expect perfection. I’ll talk with the staff team about it. If you’d like to message me more about this particular circumstance, I’d love to listen. I’m all for trying to improve the way we do things.
The person who was hacking obviously joined the server to annoy others. He wasn't even trying to hide it at all, he was on my team and was pre-firing windows like no other. And to see the staff "spectating" this person for nearly 20 minutes and not coming to the conclusion of either banning them got me really annoyed, not to mention the fact that he was behaving like an out of control 2 year old who would spew out insults at me whenever I followed him around the map. Staff could obviously see the messages which he typed in global chat but they weren't doing anything, he took a 10 minute break from using chat and I believed the staff actually muted him. Nope, he started msging me even more insults. Then believe it or not, he leaves and I thought he got banned. NOPE, the staff took so damn long that the hacker left... All im saying is that if there are 30 players in the future and it takes 3 staff to ban a single cheater in the span of 30 minutes, I really don't see much reason why I should stay.
