Rather proud of my parking finesse
Spent the last 10 days in Romania on a project with Habitat for Humanity. We were working on a house that is for a husband and wife and their 1 month old baby. The family have no place of their own to call home, but soon the house we put our blood and sweat (no tears thankfully) into will offer them a safe place for their baby boy to grow up in. The first picture is what the house looked like when we arrived, the second is what it was like on our final day in Romania. (I'm the one in the grey tshirt partly hidden by the guy in the orange beside the cement mixer).

70 years ago 150 000 Allied soldiers put their lives on the line in the Normandy Landings.

Tribute has been paid, and the tragedies that ensued upon the Normandy beaches will never be forgotten.
"When you go home tell them of us and say: for your tomorrow we gave our today."
Their bravery, their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
