Its just you, minecraft is so popular over so many platforms it disgusts me. It remains the top selling pc game in the world and is quickly overtaking the mobile market.
Mineplex has failed to dip below 10,000 players in 2 years; and that's a single server. Much more around. I believe you when you say it is the top selling pc game.
