There is no need for a global ban, it could be done with CreativeControl. (World to World permissions) I could do it if people are for this idea. EDIT: "Monsters are currently disabled on that world. Those were spawned in by players who found the eggs in the creative menu. Nothing that can be done at this moment in time. " ^^The statement above is not true, the world was set to survival, but I changed it back to peaceful - So no more monsters are spawning. So problem fixed.
