I like (re)making historical weapons and tools so I made this stone age pick. I tried to use period correct methods so instead of drilling it out I burnt out the socket for the head. It's hafted in a modern oak dowel. I didn't have sinew so I used hemp cord. The haft split at the bottom so I had to wrap it with cordage. But it's a neat little tool

I just watched this movie.... It was so good. Definately one of my new favorites. I read the book a while back, and this has to be the best film adaptation of a book I've seen. The movie is from 1956 so It's 60 years old now. The plot is very relevant to today's world with globalism and the decline of a free western civilization.
