It's been about a month since I was told it was added to the list. Still waiting on this feature and would like to be informed on its progress. Here's the original request
Please add a check on "Minecraft username" input field. Players are using emails and other invalid names when carrying out purchases, leaving them with nothing. As a direct result of this, we receive a couple hundred emails a day of these mispurchases. A straightforward, valid/invalid username response in that field would be greatly appreciated. Thanks on behalf of Mineplex.
We've done this in the past and found that forcing users to registers dramatically hinders potential purchases. It's pretty straight forward to add a username check and ways to verify if the input is valid. Don't see why this would be much of an issue to implement. We try to keep purchasing as direct as possible. If you think about it, you'd have to register your MC account, enjin account and login in order to purchase which obfuscates purchases.
It's been a while since I first mentioned this, but I notice nothing has been done about it. It's vital for donationcraft to check inputs for the minecraft username field. Customers often put in emails and such which fails to register in the donationcraft system. I urge for a Minecraft username check to be implemented to dismiss some of these issues. Currently I get a couple hundred emails a day regarding mispurchases. Is there any chance you guys can look into this or provide a viable solution. Thanks.
