Here is a little story about how I got my name TheIronSquirel.
In the year 2000 I started working for a contractor that worked on communication towers installing antennas and equipment for various wireless carriers. Three weeks into my employment, my foreman hands me a harness and asks me "Put this on and see if it fits you". I put it on right away and he explained how we did not have anyone else to test the equipment recently installed and the customer was on his way to job site. He was going to train me to work safely on the tower and help the customer testing.

We made it up the tower and it was time for me to get out to the antennas protruding 6+ feet out. Everything was going well until, I tripped on a cable. I start to go forward and I thought that's it I am dead.
Nope! I grabbed on of the antenna pipes and kept myself from falling. Please keep in mind I am still safely tide to the tower with a safety lanyard so if I do fall it will only be like 6 feet.
Anyways, I hear my foreman crying and yelling for his life like a little girl. His eyes are shut tight and he did not see that I was still there, he did not want to look and find my body on the ground, lol.
I had started yelling at him many times to calm down, everything is fine. When he finally opened his eyes he cursed me out and said "I am going down! I am never climbing another tower with your ass on it!"
He left me there and 18 hours later when we finally completed all the testing, the customer heard what had happened and the way I was working on the tower, I looked like a squirrel on a tree, running around branch to branch.
He gave me the name "TheIronSquirel"
Thank you, hope you enjoyed this little story.
