Best of luck for those of you enduring exams! May your papers, exams, and projects well and according to plan.
ALSO, it's almost winter for everyone. Days are getting shorter and it's getting colder... and what comes with that for some people? Seasonal depression. Be sure to take care of yourselves. If you start feeling like something might be up, please seek help. Your feelings are valid. Life can be extremely hard at times, but the hardships aren't forever, I promise. Sometimes your brain will say that it is and that it will never end, but your brain is lying to you. There is always hope and there is always a better "tomorrow". If not the next day, the day after. Small victories like doing laundry and showering are important, so keep that in mind!
If anyone ever needs to talk whether to vent, my door is always open (even if we don't talk!!).
The Phineas and Ferb "Animatin" rap music video is a humorous take on a day in the life of the show's co-creators and producers, Dan Povenmire and Jeff 'Swampy' as animators. Phineas and Ferb has gone from strength to strength since premiering in 2008, re
I don't understand why people are so upset and annoyed at professor applicants. When you run low on staff members don't you think you should value the people who are trying to step up to the plate? Yeah, people are complaining about the amount of applicants, but isn't it good to have a community so willing to VOLUNTEER their time to a community that requires that people put their heart and soul into it?
When you open applications to non-DAs there is no way you can't expect a lot of applications. There are limited numbers of DAs and so many more non-DAs. Of course the numbers are going to go up. "They're all applying at the same time, how annoying!!" How often has DA accepted non-DA applicants for Professor? Not very often. I'm pretty sure the last time was Prof camp. They're applying all at once and so quickly because they want to jump on the opportunity before the window closes. Applications for non-DAs have never stayed open long, so why do you expect non-DA professor applicants to bide their time?
I never cared about the amount of applications. There could be 100 people applying and I would think that it could be good. However, What I thought applicants should have done was maybe done a few more classes, maybe waited for than 2 months of being on the server then applying. It's just the lack of reflection before applying that I found could have been improved on. As people pointed out, they may be applying as a way to get criticism, but there are many ways to get help on for professor related "activities" without having to make an application.
I hope that I make the other side of things a little more clear. Of course, these are all opinions and I couldn't be wrong
I understand that, but to be fair, I got DA a month after being on DA and then offerred moderator after one more month (aka two months). Not everything needs to take months of time if the applicants are dedicated and motivated towards the community in my opinion

YOU'VE BEEN HUGGED!!!
RULES:
1- You can hug the person who hugged you!
2- You -MUST- hug 10 other people, at least!
3- You should hug them in public! Paste it on their page!
4- Random hugs are perfectly okay! (and sweet)
5- You should most definitely get started hugging right away!
A trend I've been noticing on the forums is that a fair few people post on threads repeating what other people have already said. If you don't have any new information or opinions to add to a thread, there is no shame in using the upvote function. I know there are people who are trying to get their post count up, but it's not exactly helpful to repeat what has already been said, sometimes by multiple people at that point.
I don't mean it as a slight, and I'm not saying that I've never been guilty of this myself, but I'm hoping it can be a bit of contructive criticism. Obviously there are exceptions like voting, but a lot of the time it can be solved by looking a thread and asking if you have any real valuble information to add. Yes? Post ahead! No? Maybe it's best to think about the thread topic more and what you were going to post and re-evaluate how you can better contribute.
Ahh, love it when you get tough customers at work... 'yes I would LOVE to ring through your purchase of 200 DVDs again so you can change your discount even though it will not affect the outcome of your purchase.'
'The store is closing now? Better start shopping for 30 minutes and refuse to leave!!!'
Ahh, I wouldn't know since I don't really play there anymore but I find watching some tv/youtube or reading a book when I'm waiting on something can be a nice distraction ^-^
