The server is still in development, and because of this the server is still whitelisted. We don't have an exact date yet on which we will launch, but you can go ahead and watch up on some HxH in the mean time, to maximize your entertainment value when the server does launch.
So yeah, not sure why, I don't remember getting banned as I haven't been on the server in quite a while. Because of that I'd like to get unbanned, if there's a reason why I was banned I'd like to get the opportunity to negotiate it at least.
