It's a bit of a longshot, but the "bronze anvil" quest does not accept Rose Gold (which will get players to T2 in rare situations). I'm aware that it's a concept introduced later.

I usually end up getting bronze tools before copper anvils. To go back and make 14 copper ingots just for the quest is really frustrating.
