THE NIGHTS WATCH THEME
The Nights Watch (Wargaming.net) (TNW) members are a "World of Tanks" (Wargaming.net) Clan loosely themed around the HBO fantasy television series "Game of Thrones." Our online command headquarters is virtually garrisoned at "The Castle Black" on Teamspeak. Many of our members are also affiliated with the "Society for Creative Anachronism" (SCA). We are loyal to the brotherhood, the Kingdom of Trimaris and realm. We defend the Castle Black, the Wall, Westros, Trimaris and our land possessions on the World of Tanks global map. The interest of members is not limited to Wargaming products but rather all massive multiplayer online (MMOs) that are historically or science-fiction based, military-themed, team-based, strategy-games.
BACKGROUND
THE NIGHTS WATCH
The Men of the Night's Watch are garbed all in BLACK, a tradition that earned them the nickname "CROWS," particularly among the Wildlings, who often call them "BLACK CROWS." While some use this name derogatorily, many in the Night's Watch have adopted the term for their own use. We are also called "THE BLACK BROTHERS," and in song they have been called the "BLACK KNIGHTS OF THE WALL."
The CROWS, WARDERS and RANGERS are all defenders of the Castle Black. We are the sword in the darkness. We are the "WATCHERS" on the walls. We are the shield that guards the realms of men.
We dress in our Logoed, black T-shirts, pants and garb. We are Black Knights! As the Night gathers, now our watch begins, we are The Nights Watch. We compete on World of Tanks global map in the dark of night. We serve the realm AFTER the sun falls each weekday evening from 1800-2400 <tel:1800-2400> EST. We are The Nights Watch, the Black Knights of the Walls, defenders, fighters and protectors of the Castle Black.

The Nights Watch is a house of one. We are all friends and family. We understand "a house divided cannot stand." We are a Team! Together our community of Knights defends the people, the lands and castles of the realm.
We are a single clan composed of the Crows (TNW), the Warders (-TNW-) and the RANGERS. We have three orders; the stewards, the builders, and the Rangers.
The nights watch is a Tank Battalion composed of two Armored Divisions (AD) and a Special Operations Unit. The TNW-CROWS, TNW-WARDERS and the TNW-RANGERS.
The RANGERS are an elite fighting group (SPEC-OPS) composed of experienced Crows and Warders members. Induction into the RANGER spec ops unit is by request only. Potential members have been in the Clan a minimum 365 days, have a WOTs Personal Rating (greater than 5000) and demonstrate good moral and leadership qualities.

GENERAL INFORMATION
As a new recruit your main duties and responsibilities are to learn! Indoctrinate and assimilate to The Nights Watch.
Learn our rules and policies. You are in a Clan now, you have have friends now, socialize and learn about our members. Know how to breach the scrimmage line. Know when to breach the scrimmage line. Maintain situational awareness always. No longer are you a Lonewolf. Stay with your group of tankers. Listen to the directions of your combat officer. It is about the team win not about a personal win anymore. Listen, learn, and drill will make you a better tanker.
Attend all clan meetings, functions activities. You will have years of fun with our clan but first you must become one of us.

RECRUIT STATUS
A new recruit holds no rank and is considered a candidate (probationary member) of The Nights Watch (TNW). He or she holds a recruit status on "World of Tanks" and our TeamSpeak WAFA server. Probationary members can be dismissed by ANY officer, at ANY time, for ANY policy offense.
WAFA - is the acronym for our teamspeak server the "Wargaming Armed Forces Alliance" (WAFA) a group of many WOTs friendly allied Clans.
WOT - is the acronym for World of Tanks (Wargaming.net) MMO game.
** "Acronym" a word formed from the initial letters of words in a phrase or series of words.
RECRUIT REGISTRATION
Private (PVT) is the lowest military rank offered by The Nights Watch (TNW) on the on our WAFA server.
After the new recruit has met the following criteria: 1. Signs on to Teamspeak and is issued Recruit Tags. 2. Registers on the TNW enjin website as a Recruit. 3. Reads and Understands the Duties and Responsibilities of the Recruit Rank Position. 4. Reads all supplemental clan published clan policies in forums. 5. And registers with the Combat Officer (CC) at School of Armored Warriors.
The new recruit Will be promoted to the rank of Private (PVT) by the Company Combat Officer instructor at the Tank School. One TeamSpeak but not on World of Tanks where he will still be the rank of recruit. A promotion to private (PVT) occurs only after achieving the rank of private first class (PFC) on team speak.
ABSENT WITH OUT LEAVE (AWOL)
Any new recruit holding TNW Tags; who has not registered with enjin, who is not TeamSpeak and who has not registered with the tank school (SOAW) within one week (7 Days) is AWOL and will be dropped from the clan rosters!
That recruit will not be eligible to apply for TNW membership for a period of one year.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
The correct way to address a new recruit Private named Mr. Williams is: "Private Williams" written as "PVT. Williams".
The correct way to address a Commander named Mr. Williams is: "Commanders Williams" written as "CDR. Williams".
THE COMMANDER, DEPUTY COMMANDER AND ALL OFFICERS
ARE TO BE ADDRESSED IN THIS MANNER (RANK AND NAME) WHILE YOU ARE ON PROBATION.
R - New recruits are tagged with an "R" on Teamspeak which stands for Recruit.
P - New recruits are also tagged with a "P" on Teamspeak which stands for Probationary candidate. Your probationary period is 90 days but can be up to 179 days at the discretion of the Commanders (CO or DCO).
P&R - When a TNW Member holds both a "P" and "R". The "P & R" together this just means that the member is a new recruit candidate.
P - A designation of "P" Probation for a new recruit is not a derogatory tag you are just a new recruit candidate.
The "P" Probation does mean you can be Booted/Dropped from the clan by ANY Officer without notice for any infraction of clan policy or insubordination.
P - This "P" can also stand for 90 days of probation used when a general member has had some type of disciplinary action against him or her at a Commanders MAST.
EYE BALL - All newly recruited members are tagged, on teamspeak, with an eyeball "(Eye)" symbol. The eyeball symbol/tag indicates the member is a minor. (Under Eighteen).
All new members are issued minor tags until they complete registration with the TNW enjin website and/or it is determined that the member is more than 18 years of age.
T (Teen) - in the case where a member is a minor (under 18) but is in his or her teen years we have a second symbol "T" that is added designating the member as an older Teen. If a member is designated as a teen the eyeball tag still remains because eyeballs symbolize minors and teens are older minors.
MINORS - TNW has a minors policy please read it. Normally we do NOT accept any minors HOWEVER we will accept new minors under the following SPECIAL CONDITION.
MINORS SPECIAL CONDITION
If a parent becomes an ACTIVE member of the Clan. That parent must remain active for at last least ONE YEAR before for the Minor to be considered a "Legacy Minor." Consult the TNW MINOR POLICY for further information.
You recruitment officer (RO) or Clan Sponsor (the officer that invited you into the clan) is responsible for issuing your initial teamspeak tags.

If you are here it is because a Nights Watch recruiter or officer believes you have POTENTIAL! Understand that because you are here now does NOT mean you will stay here. "Many are picked but FEW are chosen" to be a Nights Watch CROWS, WARDERS or RANGERS. Some of you will NOT MAKE IT some of you will eventually become the Elite RANGERS (Rangers have a WOTs Personal Rating greater than 5000)! At all times respect your Commanders and Officers, know the policies and follow the rules!
WHAT IS A RECRUIT
Recruit Definition: A recruit is a candidate that has met a majority of the following criteria:
1. Less Than 90 Days In The Clan
2. Someone who has not Registered for BootCamp.
3. Someone who has not Completed "BootCamp"/Basic Battlefield Training (BBT)
4. Someone who has not Completed Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
5. Less Than PR2000
6. Less Than 2000 Battles.
7. Owns two tier Six Tanks. Owns two tier eight tanks.
8. Has Registered with the TNW enjin Webpage.
9. Has established a TeamSpeak presence/persona on WAFA.
As a new recruit it is mandatory that you attend the School of Armored Warriors for Basic Battlefield Training or Rapid Tanker Training. BBT is a 5-6 week training program that includes the following areas.
SCHOOL OF ARMORED WARRIORS (SOAW) BOOTCAMP PROGRAM
BASIC BATTLEFIELD TRAINING (BBT)
1. Orientation
2. Basic Tank Maneuvers (BTM)
3. Basic Battlefield Training - Lecture Series (BBT)
4. Battlefield Communications Training (BCT)
5. Basic Armored Combat Training certification (BACT)
6. Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
TRAINING PERIOD DURATION
BootCamp is 3-5 Weeknights, 1 hour class, for approximately 5-6 consecutive weeks. The BBT program consist of Lectures, Videos, Focus Fire Drills, and Live Fire Combat in Training Rooms and in Public Matches (aka "Pubs", "Pub Matches", "Drops") *** All new recruits must complete BBT.
IMPORTANT RECRUIT NOTICES
1. Probationary Recruits that are inactive longer than 6 weeks will be dismissed!
2. Probationary Recruits with a poor activity level (based on "activity rule" (28 B/D less than 6.0) will be dismissed!
3. Probationary Recruits that refuse to join Platoons, Skirmishes or other clan activities will be dismissed!
4. Unregistered new recruits after seven days (7 Days) are considered AWOL and will be dropped from the clan rosters!
IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL NIGHTS WATCH MEMBERS AND NEW RECRUITS ATTEND THE MONTHY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING (GMM)
GMM - The TNW enjin website is the goto information area. Always check the homepage post for scheduled activities and the calendar for the dates and times of the GMMs.
MOVING UP THE RANKS
TNWs "BOOT CAMP PROGRAM"
Once Recruits I registered with at SOAW Combat Officer Instructor (CCI) and begin Orientation the recruit will be awarded the rank of Private and tagged on Teamspeak with (PVT) a change in status from "Recruit" on TeamSpeak but not WOTs.
RECRUITS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED WITH ENJIN WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED TO THE TANK SCHOOL.
BASIC BATTLEFIELD TRAINING
Recruits who COMPLETE Boot Camp training will receive additional tags (PFC) (BBT) (Q2016) on teamspeak from their CCI (Combat Officer Instructor).
PFC - Is the highest Non-Commissioned Soldier TNW offers on the WAFA server. The rank of PFC means that you are fully vetted to fight for the nights watch in strongholds, clan wars, team battles and tournaments.
Some PFC rank holders have advanced standing but have not completed BBT. That is the reason for the PFC tag and the BBT tag.
BBT - means the person has completed Basic Battlefields Training (BootCamp).
FOCUS FIRE (QUALS)
Recruits will complete Annual Focus Fire Qualifications. Upon completion member will be tagged Q2016 etc. You qualify one time a year for focus fire speed and accuracy. As a tank commander you drill 2 to 3 times a week on focus fire.
"Q" - is the annual focus fire qualifications tag on teamspeak. Q tag is also referred to as the "QUAL" tag. It is designated by the Q followed by the year of completion. For example…Q2016 or Q2017.
BECOMING A PRIVATE
RECRUIT - Rank Private (PVT)
Recruit Definition:
1. A fully registered recruit.
2. Attends all meetings, functions, clan activities.
3. Less Than 90 Days in Clan
4. In rolled in Tank School (SOAW).
5. Working on completing Boot Camp training. Basic Battlefield Training Lecture Program (BBT)

RECRUIT - Rank Private (PV2)
Recruit Definition:
1. More Than 90 Days in Clan
2. Completed Basic Battlefield Training Lecture Program (BBT)

5. More Than 3000 Battles
Privates will be automatically promoted to the rank of PFC (Private First Class ) on Teamspeak and World of Tanks after they meet the following criteria by the CCI (Combat Officer Instructor)
FULL MEMBER - Private (PFC)
Member Definition:
1. More Than 180 Days in Clan
2. More Than PR2500
3. More Than 4000 Battles.
4. Owns two Non-Premium tier Six Tanks. Owns two Non-Premium tier eight tanks.
5. Completed Basic Battlefield Training (BBT) certification.
6. Completed Tank Commander (TC) certification.
7. Completed the Annual Focus Fire qualifications (aka QUALS).
8. Has attended three general membership meetings (GMM).
9. Has participated in ONE stronghold battle with the the clan.
PRIVATE FIRST CLASS (PFC)
After achieving the rank of PFC the new recruit designation of "P" Probation will be removed. This means that have been formal accepted to the Clan. You are a general member and not a candidate. You cannot be dropped without "DUE PROCESS" of an official disciplinary action (Commanders Mast Proceeding).
ADVANCED STATUS (PFC)
Any member who receives an early promotion or advanced status Private First Class (PFC) must then comply and complete ALL the criteria for that promotion before any further promotions are given. See Petition for Exemption."
ROLE OF THE PRIVATE
The primary role of a Private is to indoctrinate and assimilate into the clan.
1. Know the names of the commander and deputy commander.
2. When the commander and deputy commander enter the channel announce "Attention, Commander in the channel"
3. Know the names of all the officers especially the commanders, executive and personnel officers.
4. Address all officers appropriately by their rank and name.
5. Read, understand, and have a working knowledge of all the items on the new recruit recommended policies reading list.
6. Read and review all clan policies.
7. Read and learn about the TNW clan history and culture.
8. Complete tank commander (TC) training.
9. Complete annual Focus fire Qualifications training.
10. Attend all monthly General Membership Meetings.
11. Participate in all clan planned activities.
12. Platoon and socialized with officers and members with higher personal ratings than yourself.
13. Check the TNW enjin home page, calendar, and forums daily or plan information and events.
14. Anytime you are on World of Tanks you are required to be on teamspeak! Failure to follow through with this clan requirement will result in expulsion from the clan.
15. If you are asked by any officer to participate a clan battle, be it stronghold, clan war or any other designated battle and refuse participate this is grounds for expulsion from the clan.
16. Grind your tanks until you have the following amount of non-premium tanks; two tier sixes, two tier sevens, two tear eights, to tear tens.
17. Report for duty (be on WOTs and on TS) 3 weeknights for 2 hours make sure a JO (Junior Officer) takes you attendance!!
18. Do not badmouth players in gaming chat areas. This is grounds for expulsion from the clan.
19. As you make friends in our clan ask members to platoon with you and help you grind your tanks until you have what you need.
20. Be respectful of all officers and clan members and other players. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
21. Carry out the orders issued by their commanding officers.

HIGHER RANKS
If you are in "The Night Watch" battalion member of either Armored Division. Weather you are a Crow 1AD [TNW] or a Warder 2AD [-TNW-], moving up the ranks requires dedication, skill and ability. Those members who meet and achieve the following criteria will be considered for a higher ranks by the Commander (CO), Deputy Commander (DCO) , or Personnel Officer Committee (POC).
Consideration for higher ranks
1. Those who display of leadership and experience.
2. Those members with sustained good performance PR3000 or better.
3. Those members with Exceptional skill or ability that have; High personal ratings. High damage rate. High tank Kill rate.
4. Those members who are social and have acquired personal maturity.
5. Those members who have completed all rank level requirements.
6. Those members who understand the difference between a personal win and a team win.
7. Those members who understand that tank battles are more like chess and less like a brawl.
8. Those members who understand that how to breach a skirmish is just as important as we when to Breach.
9. Those members who are not Lonewolfs.
Changes in ranks are always announced to the clan by the Commander (CO) or Deputy Commander (DCO) at the monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM).
FIELD PROMOTIONS
Sometimes there is a special or critical need for someone to be promoted immediately to a new rank, this is called a Field Promotion. Field promotions can be done at any time by the commander, deputy commander, or any executive officer. Field promotions are always announced to the clan at the next monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM).
PRESENCE:
All members are required to be online a minimum of 3 of 5 weekdays nights for at least two hours each day.
New Recruits maybe on WOTs and TEAMSPEAK up to 3-5 weeknights enrolled in Tank School (SOAW) or the duration of training.
All members and recruits have NO Clan Activity Obligations on Weekends
but must still be on Teamspeak when in game.
SECURITY: All members are expected to assure the safety and protection of minors as much as possible.
CONDUCT CODES
1. All individuals serve as role models for the membership govern yourselves with honor.
2. No explicative’s in chat to other clans.
3. Respect your Commanders, Officers, Combat officers, team members.
4. Respect all Clans and all other players.
5. When the Commander or Deputy Commander enter the channel announce "Commander in the Channel."
6. Banter is approved! Banter means to speak to or address in a witty and teasing manner.
7. If you verbally abuse and trash talk players in pubs, this Clan is not for you!
8. Personal attacks on any members will NOT be tolerated.
VIOLATIONS OF RULES AND POLICY
Members or recruits candidates deemed to be guilty of conduct code or duties responsibilities may be officially reprimanded, sanctioned or face expulsion from the clan.

A new recruit holds no rank and is considered a candidate (probationary member) of The Nights Watch (TNW). He or she holds a recruit status on "World of Tanks" and our TeamSpeak WAFA server. Probationary members can be dismissed by ANY officer, at ANY time, for ANY policy offense.
WAFA - is the acronym for our teamspeak server the "Wargaming Armed Forces Alliance" (WAFA) a group of many WOTs friendly allied Clans.
WOT - is the acronym for World of Tanks (Wargaming.net) MMO game.
** "Acronym" a word formed from the initial letters of words in a phrase or series of words.
RECRUIT REGISTRATION
Private (PVT) is the lowest military rank offered by The Nights Watch (TNW) on the on our WAFA server.
After the new recruit has met the following criteria: 1. Signs on to Teamspeak and is issued Recruit Tags. 2. Registers on the TNW enjin website as a Recruit. 3. Reads and Understands the Duties and Responsibilities of the Recruit Rank Position. 4. Reads all supplemental clan published clan policies in forums. 5. And registers with the Combat Officer (CC) at School of Armored Warriors.
The new recruit Will be promoted to the rank of Private (PVT) by the Company Combat Officer instructor at the Tank School. One TeamSpeak but not on World of Tanks where he will still be the rank of recruit. A promotion to private (PVT) occurs only after achieving the rank of private first class (PFC) on team speak.
ABSENT WITH OUT LEAVE (AWOL)
Any new recruit holding TNW Tags; who has not registered with enjin, who is not TeamSpeak and who has not registered with the tank school (SOAW) within one week (7 Days) is AWOL and will be dropped from the clan rosters!
That recruit will not be eligible to apply for TNW membership for a period of one year.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
The correct way to address a new recruit Private named Mr. Williams is: "Private Williams" written as "PVT. Williams".
The correct way to address a Commander named Mr. Williams is: "Commanders Williams" written as "CDR. Williams".
THE COMMANDER, DEPUTY COMMANDER AND ALL OFFICERS
ARE TO BE ADDRESSED IN THIS MANNER (RANK AND NAME) WHILE YOU ARE ON PROBATION.
R - New recruits are tagged with an "R" on Teamspeak which stands for Recruit.
P - New recruits are also tagged with a "P" on Teamspeak which stands for Probationary candidate. Your probationary period is 90 days but can be up to 179 days at the discretion of the Commanders (CO or DCO).
P&R - When a TNW Member holds both a "P" and "R". The "P & R" together this just means that the member is a new recruit candidate.
P - A designation of "P" Probation for a new recruit is not a derogatory tag you are just a new recruit candidate.
The "P" Probation does mean you can be Booted/Dropped from the clan by ANY Officer without notice for any infraction of clan policy or insubordination.
P - This "P" can also stand for 90 days of probation used when a general member has had some type of disciplinary action against him or her at a Commanders MAST.
EYE BALL - All newly recruited members are tagged, on teamspeak, with an eyeball "(Eye)" symbol. The eyeball symbol/tag indicates the member is a minor. (Under Eighteen).
All new members are issued minor tags until they complete registration with the TNW enjin website and/or it is determined that the member is more than 18 years of age.
T (Teen) - in the case where a member is a minor (under 18) but is in his or her teen years we have a second symbol "T" that is added designating the member as an older Teen. If a member is designated as a teen the eyeball tag still remains because eyeballs symbolize minors and teens are older minors.
MINORS - TNW has a minors policy please read it. Normally we do NOT accept any minors HOWEVER we will accept new minors under the following SPECIAL CONDITION.
MINORS SPECIAL CONDITION
If a parent becomes an ACTIVE member of the Clan. That parent must remain active for at last least ONE YEAR before for the Minor to be considered a "Legacy Minor." Consult the TNW MINOR POLICY for further information.
You recruitment officer (RO) or Clan Sponsor (the officer that invited you into the clan) is responsible for issuing your initial teamspeak tags.

If you are here it is because a Nights Watch recruiter or officer believes you have POTENTIAL! Understand that because you are here now does NOT mean you will stay here. "Many are picked but FEW are chosen" to be a Nights Watch CROWS, WARDERS or RANGERS. Some of you will NOT MAKE IT some of you will eventually become the Elite RANGERS (Rangers have a WOTs Personal Rating greater than 5000)! At all times respect your Commanders and Officers, know the policies and follow the rules!
WHAT IS A RECRUIT
Recruit Definition: A recruit is a candidate that has met a majority of the following criteria:
1. Less Than 90 Days In The Clan
2. Someone who has not Registered for BootCamp.
3. Someone who has not Completed "BootCamp"/Basic Battlefield Training (BBT)
4. Someone who has not Completed Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
5. Less Than PR2000
6. Less Than 2000 Battles.
7. Owns two tier Six Tanks. Owns two tier eight tanks.
8. Has Registered with the TNW enjin Webpage.
9. Has established a TeamSpeak presence/persona on WAFA.
As a new recruit it is mandatory that you attend the School of Armored Warriors for Basic Battlefield Training or Rapid Tanker Training. BBT is a 5-6 week training program that includes the following areas.
SCHOOL OF ARMORED WARRIORS (SOAW) BOOTCAMP PROGRAM
BASIC BATTLEFIELD TRAINING (BBT)
1. Orientation
2. Basic Tank Maneuvers (BTM)
3. Basic Battlefield Training - Lecture Series (BBT)
4. Battlefield Communications Training (BCT)
5. Basic Armored Combat Training certification (BACT)
6. Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
TRAINING PERIOD DURATION
BootCamp is 3-5 Weeknights, 1 hour class, for approximately 5-6 consecutive weeks. The BBT program consist of Lectures, Videos, Focus Fire Drills, and Live Fire Combat in Training Rooms and in Public Matches (aka "Pubs", "Pub Matches", "Drops") *** All new recruits must complete BBT.
IMPORTANT RECRUIT NOTICES
1. Probationary Recruits that are inactive longer than 6 weeks will be dismissed!
2. Probationary Recruits with a poor activity level (based on "activity rule" (28 B/D less than 6.0) will be dismissed!
3. Probationary Recruits that refuse to join Platoons, Skirmishes or other clan activities will be dismissed!
4. Unregistered new recruits after seven days (7 Days) are considered AWOL and will be dropped from the clan rosters!
IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL NIGHTS WATCH MEMBERS AND NEW RECRUITS ATTEND THE MONTHY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING (GMM)
GMM - The TNW enjin website is the goto information area. Always check the homepage post for scheduled activities and the calendar for the dates and times of the GMMs.
MOVING UP THE RANKS
TNWs "BOOT CAMP PROGRAM"
Once Recruits I registered with at SOAW Combat Officer Instructor (CCI) and begin Orientation the recruit will be awarded the rank of Private and tagged on Teamspeak with (PVT) a change in status from "Recruit" on TeamSpeak but not WOTs.
RECRUITS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED WITH ENJIN WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED TO THE TANK SCHOOL.
BASIC BATTLEFIELD TRAINING
Recruits who COMPLETE Boot Camp training will receive additional tags (PFC) (BBT) (Q2016) on teamspeak from their CCI (Combat Officer Instructor).
PFC - Is the highest Non-Commissioned Soldier TNW offers on the WAFA server. The rank of PFC means that you are fully vetted to fight for the nights watch in strongholds, clan wars, team battles and tournaments.
Some PFC rank holders have advanced standing but have not completed BBT. That is the reason for the PFC tag and the BBT tag.
BBT - means the person has completed Basic Battlefields Training (BootCamp).
FOCUS FIRE (QUALS)
Recruits will complete Annual Focus Fire Qualifications. Upon completion member will be tagged Q2016 etc. You qualify one time a year for focus fire speed and accuracy. As a tank commander you drill 2 to 3 times a week on focus fire.
"Q" - is the annual focus fire qualifications tag on teamspeak. Q tag is also referred to as the "QUAL" tag. It is designated by the Q followed by the year of completion. For example…Q2016 or Q2017.
BECOMING A PRIVATE
RECRUIT - Rank Private (PVT)
Recruit Definition:
1. A fully registered recruit.
2. Attends all meetings, functions, clan activities.
3. Less Than 90 Days in Clan
4. In rolled in Tank School (SOAW).
5. Working on completing Boot Camp training. Basic Battlefield Training Lecture Program (BBT)
6. Completed Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
7. Less Than PR2000
8. Less Than 2000 Battles.
RECRUIT - Rank Private (PV2)
Recruit Definition:
1. More Than 90 Days in Clan
2. Completed Basic Battlefield Training Lecture Program (BBT)
3. Completed Focus Fire Qualifications (QUALS).
4. More Than PR2000-2500
5. More Than 3000 Battles
Privates will be automatically promoted to the rank of PFC (Private First Class ) on Teamspeak and World of Tanks after they meet the following criteria by the CCI (Combat Officer Instructor)
FULL MEMBER - Private (PFC)
Member Definition:
1. More Than 180 Days in Clan
2. More Than PR2500
3. More Than 4000 Battles.
4. Owns two Non-Premium tier Six Tanks. Owns two Non-Premium tier eight tanks.
5. Completed Basic Battlefield Training (BBT) certification.
6. Completed Tank Commander (TC) certification.
7. Completed the Annual Focus Fire qualifications (aka QUALS).
8. Has attended three general membership meetings (GMM).
9. Has participated in ONE stronghold battle with the the clan.
PRIVATE FIRST CLASS (PFC)
After achieving the rank of PFC the new recruit designation of "P" Probation will be removed. This means that have been formal accepted to the Clan. You are a general member and not a candidate. You cannot be dropped without "DUE PROCESS" of an official disciplinary action (Commanders Mast Proceeding).
ADVANCED STATUS (PFC)
Any member who receives an early promotion or advanced status Private First Class (PFC) must then comply and complete ALL the criteria for that promotion before any further promotions are given. See Petition for Exemption."
ROLE OF THE PRIVATE
The primary role of a Private is to indoctrinate and assimilate into the clan.
1. Know the names of the commander and deputy commander.
2. When the commander and deputy commander enter the channel announce "Attention, Commander in the channel"
3. Know the names of all the officers especially the commanders, executive and personnel officers.
4. Address all officers appropriately by their rank and name.
5. Read, understand, and have a working knowledge of all the items on the new recruit recommended policies reading list.
6. Read and review all clan policies.
7. Read and learn about the TNW clan history and culture.
8. Complete tank commander (TC) training.
9. Complete annual Focus fire Qualifications training.
10. Attend all monthly General Membership Meetings.
11. Participate in all clan planned activities.
12. Platoon and socialized with officers and members with higher personal ratings than yourself.
13. Check the TNW enjin home page, calendar, and forums daily or plan information and events.
14. Anytime you are on World of Tanks you are required to be on teamspeak! Failure to follow through with this clan requirement will result in expulsion from the clan.
15. If you are asked by any officer to participate a clan battle, be it stronghold, clan war or any other designated battle and refuse participate this is grounds for expulsion from the clan.
16. Grind your tanks until you have the following amount of non-premium tanks; two tier sixes, two tier sevens, two tear eights, to tear tens.
17. Report for duty (be on WOTs and on TS) 3 weeknights for 2 hours make sure a JO (Junior Officer) takes you attendance!!
18. Do not badmouth players in gaming chat areas. This is grounds for expulsion from the clan.
19. As you make friends in our clan ask members to platoon with you and help you grind your tanks until you have what you need.
20. Be respectful of all officers and clan members and other players. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
21. Carry out the orders issued by their commanding officers.

HIGHER RANKS
If you are in "The Night Watch" battalion member of either Armored Division. Weather you are a Crow 1AD [TNW] or a Warder 2AD [-TNW-], moving up the ranks requires dedication, skill and ability. Those members who meet and achieve the following criteria will be considered for a higher ranks by the Commander (CO), Deputy Commander (DCO) , or Personnel Officer Committee (POC).
Consideration for higher ranks
1. Those who display of leadership and experience.
2. Those members with sustained good performance PR3000 or better.
3. Those members with Exceptional skill or ability that have; High personal ratings. High damage rate. High tank Kill rate.
4. Those members who are social and have acquired personal maturity.
5. Those members who have completed all rank level requirements.
6. Those members who understand the difference between a personal win and a team win.
7. Those members who understand that tank battles are more like chess and less like a brawl.
8. Those members who understand that how to breach a skirmish is just as important as we when to Breach.
9. Those members who are not Lonewolfs.
Changes in ranks are always announced to the clan by the Commander (CO) or Deputy Commander (DCO) at the monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM).
FIELD PROMOTIONS
Sometimes there is a special or critical need for someone to be promoted immediately to a new rank, this is called a Field Promotion. Field promotions can be done at any time by the commander, deputy commander, or any executive officer. Field promotions are always announced to the clan at the next monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM).
PRESENCE:
All members are required to be online a minimum of 3 of 5 weekdays nights for at least two hours each day.
New Recruits maybe on WOTs and TEAMSPEAK up to 3-5 weeknights enrolled in Tank School (SOAW) or the duration of training.
All members and recruits have NO Clan Activity Obligations on Weekends
but must still be on Teamspeak when in game.
SECURITY: All members are expected to assure the safety and protection of minors as much as possible.
CONDUCT CODES
1. All individuals serve as role models for the membership govern yourselves with honor.
2. No explicative’s in chat to other clans.
3. Respect your Commanders, Officers, Combat officers, team members.
4. Respect all Clans and all other players.
5. When the Commander or Deputy Commander enter the channel announce "Commander in the Channel."
6. Banter is approved! Banter means to speak to or address in a witty and teasing manner.
7. If you verbally abuse and trash talk players in pubs, this Clan is not for you!
8. Personal attacks on any members will NOT be tolerated.
VIOLATIONS OF RULES AND POLICY
Members or recruits candidates deemed to be guilty of conduct code or duties responsibilities may be officially reprimanded, sanctioned or face expulsion from the clan.
