Section One - The dismissal of a king
This morning at approximately 6:00am EST, I received a text from TekkitCore's co owner Doug, and it was as read.
"I think its time I resign. I have done so much for you and this community for I think nearly a year (in February it will be a year). In that time I have had so much fun with the players and you. Seriously it was a blast! But also excluding those fun times I have gained so much experience and knowledge all from knowing what I think is right to managing an entire community. I truly am honored that I gained a friend like you Asanti and have met so many different kinds of people throughout my time in TekkitCore. Recently I have not been interested in TekkitCore's servers and player-base and I have grown exhausted and because of that I have not been online nor communicating anymore and I have been procrastinating my duties. I am aware that this is horrible and shouldn't of happened in the first place but I let it happened (my fault not yours). Its gotten to the point where Vanilla would be a bigger help to you than I could. He is active on the servers. He has made many connections with the players and the staff. He has gotten used to how you and I run things. If you are to put someone in the Co-Owner seat he would be the best choice. I have not removed my permissions on anything affiliated with TekkitCore yet. I leave that up to you to do. I do not want this to leave us on a bad not. I would like us to remain friends and remain chill with each other. If TekkitCore and/or you need anything whether it be help or just giving you advice don't hesitate to hmu."
Section Two - Looking for New Staff
As he leaves, a new team of staff will follow. Lately, we've been hosting private servers for active members of the community, and our old staff has been inactive. I'm updating the staff roster to it's current status, and we're looking for new staff, you can apply for staff at the top of the forums page.
Section Three - New Servers
We're purchasing a server panel and opening the new servers as promised. We currently have $50 towards a panel, and we're saving up a little bit more money to support the panel for the next few months. Any type of donation helps, and will be accepted via http://paypal.me/JonStanek and/or http://tekkitcore.enjin.com/shopand will go directly to the server panel, and count as donating towards the server, you'll receive your ingame rewards.
Thank you for taking the time to read the news, please contact me if you have any new questions.
