If Minetown was dying before then it's dead now. The removal of the main world from the server rotation is... sad. It really is. It was the one world left that was actually "fun" in some way. Whether it was /warp candyland where Bacon's statues were built or /warp vegas, /warp gfarm (grifff's farm) they were still fun to visit. It was nostalgic above everything else and reminded me of good memories from way back when I was only 14 or 15.

I feel like the hiring of certain staff members, chiefly Danni, but also fucking cunts like PokemonGardevoir, (what a stupid SJW bitch) darkpsy, novaleigh, (seriously?) alecmckinley, (how?) was the main contributing factor to Minetowns demise. The "hit and run" attitude that she adopted was terrible, the way she managed to convince and push Sawine into abandoning the server and towards piles of shit like PokeMC and FlyMC.

It was also the lack of common sense used in applying punishments - there wasn't any. People who simply did not know how to be staff were made staff as previous staff totally lost interest in the server as a whole due to friends of theirs - specifically people like Coffeey, TPrezzle, CheckersFX... hell, even Okifool was banned, someone who contributed a huge amount to Minetown. So people left, and they moved to different servers or other games like League.

Not only this, but staff fucked with stuff that didn't NEED to be fucked with. The nether protections were lifted for no reason except that a few players had bases in there, PVP was totally reset for reasons unknown, the prison had nerfs and fixes. None of these things needed to happen and simply contributed to the demise of MT.

The fact that gay is filtered in Minetown's chat but not lesbian is absolutely abhorrent. The dis-equality is simply appalling and I hate to see the two main different non-cis orientations segregated like 1950s apartheid. The fact that "gay" is considered offensive yet "lesbian" is not is shockingly preposterous and I would hate to see Minetown turn into an unequal quagmire of political incorrectness second only to 4chan and 9gag. Just because it is two men and not two women turns it into an insult and this is simply not acceptable. I would like to see this issue fixed as soon as possible so the huge amount of people who play Minetown, from different orientations to different places in the world, find it a happy and enjoyable place for everyone rather than a strict non-gay zone.
