How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore, and a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean by providence impoverished, in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?
A couple is walking in St. Petersburg Square on Christmas Eve. They feel a slight precipitation.
"I think it's raining," says the man.
"No, it's snowing," replies the woman.
"How about we ask the Communist officer here? He is always right!" exclaims the man. "Officer Rudolph, is it raining or snowing?"
"Definitely raining," Officer Rudolph replies before walking away.
The man turns to his wife with a smile. "See? Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear."
"I have seen the best of you, and the worst of you, and I choose both. I want to share every single one of your sunshines and save some for later I will tuck them into my pockets so I can give them back to you when the rains fall hard. Friend, I want to be the mirror that reminds you to love yourself. I want to be air in your lungs that reminds you to breathe easy. When the walls come down, when the thunder rumbles, when nobody else is home, hold my hand and I promise I won’t let you go." -Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye

im not totally against riots, like make your voice heard but when it gets to the point that staff needs to mute and ban for small things that shouldn't have to be muted/banned its time to calm down.
